Cast‑iron‑cover drainage channels constitute a system—a single channel body—onto which various types of covers can be fitted. Each section measures one meter in length, and both ends of the channel are equipped with interlocking joints for sealing and caulking; when assembled, they form a complete drainage channel. During on‑site installation, the sections can be directly connected like building blocks. The material used to manufacture these channels is not ordinary concrete but a specialized composite known as “resin‑reinforced concrete,” or polymer concrete in technical terms. In everyday parlance, it resembles artificial stone, and its primary constituents are also similar to those of artificial stone.
